What Is Overseas Packaging?

Overseas packaging is a specialized type of export packaging designed to reliably protect goods such as machinery, equipment, spare parts, and sensitive technical devices from external influences – including physical damage, moisture, corrosion, and dust – during long-distance transport and extended storage.

Typically, the products are sealed airtight in multi-layer aluminum barrier film, with desiccants and additional corrosion protection materials included inside the packaging. 

Inside the sealed unit, desiccants and corrosion-inhibiting VCI materials ensure long-term protection against rust and oxidation. This creates a closed, climate-stable environment that shields your goods from external influences – even during prolonged transit, storage, and repeated handling.

The outer crate is designed for maximum durability and tailored to the rigorous demands of international shipping. It provides full four-way access for forklifts and cranes, is stackable if needed, and is built for repeated manipulation and handling. 

Upon request, we integrate shock, tilt, temperature and humidity indicators, as well as inspection windows for custom clearance – all adapted to the destination, product type, and export regulations.

Types of overseas packaging:

• Packing into aluminium foil with desiccants.
  
• Packing into aluminium foil with desiccants, humidity indicators and external inspection window.
• Packing into materials emitting VCI inhibitor.
• Dual protection - combined packaging with both aluminium foil and VCI materials for maximal long-lasting protection in global shipping and storage.

We provide secured, heated storage facilities equipped with cranes and forklifts – ideal for individual machines and components, or fully consolidated project shipments. Your goods can be safely stored, then packaged and shipped within pre-agreed time frames.

We also support you with logistics planning and transport coordination – either as a standalone service or as part of an integrated project solution.
